Welcome to Marathi Mitra Mandal Deutschland e. V.
Starting as an informal group of friends we revived the hibernating Marathi group activities and started with small family get-together since 2008. After debating the pros and cons of forming a formal group and agreeing that the pros outweigh the cons, Prasad and Ravi registered the group in May 2014 as per German law in the name of Marathi Mitra Mandal Deutschland e. V.
Marathi Mitra Mandal Deutschland e. V. is the first Germany wide officially registered platform for the Marathi speaking community to build up social and business contacts for those living in Germany or in India.

Prasad Bhalerao
President
Prasad has lived in Germany since 1999, when he first came to pursue his Master‘s followed by PhD in Electrical Engineering. He has lived and worked in various cities in Germany, and is one of the pioneers of MMM Germany. He lives with his wife Sharvari and twin sons Riaan and Aarin in Willich.
Prasad‘s hometown is Kalyan, Mumbai
